The Easy Languages Team

SPANISH DIDACTICIAN

Aida enjoys learning languages and teaching Spanish. She is involved in the creation of learning materials, conversation sessions or any other issues that might need a didactic approach to help the Easy Spanish team share great learning content with their community. Playing volleyball at the beach, discovering new board games and taking care of her friends’ pets sound like a perfect plan to her.

COMMUNITY MANAGER

Ania is responsible for the Easy Languages customer and community management. She helps to answer questions from our viewers and members and also supports us in managing our YouTube channels and Patreon campaigns. A passionate language learner, Ania studied English and Arabic at university. In her free time, she loves developing her photography skills.

VIDEO & PODCAST HOST

Cami is part of the Easy Spanish team. As a Video and Podcast Host, she enjoys communicating, storytelling, and sharing knowledge about Hispanic culture. She also supports members with customer service and community interaction. Born and raised in Bogotá, she takes every chance to convince people to visit. Outside of work, she enjoys a good laugh, dancing reggaeton, and looking after her friends.

CEO

Cari is the CEO of Easy Languages and co-founded the project with Janusz in 2013. She is passionate about managing our team and also enjoys content creation as one of the hosts at Easy German. When not working on Easy Languages, Cari loves bike rides and traveling by train and ferry.

PARTNER SUPPORT & PRODUCTION LEAD

Chris joined the Easy Languages team in 2020 as a video producer for Easy German. He is also part of the partners management team, where he provides co-producers with feedback and technical production training. Originally from Indiana in the US, he now lives just outside Berlin with his wife and daughters. When he's not working with a camera, he enjoys running, reading, drinking coffee, and traveling.

CAMERAMAN & EDITOR

Dani is the cameraman and editor for Easy Portuguese. He has lived in São Paulo since childhood. Passionate about languages, he finds motivation in learning new ones. Dani is a fan of geek culture and never says no to a good video game. He grows a beautiful garden in his apartment and considers nature both a friend and an inspiration.

SPANISH LANGUAGE CREATOR & VIDEO HOST

David is part of the Easy Spanish didactics team, where he hosts videos and organises community challenges. He is based in Barcelona, loves teaching Spanish there and has over ten years of experience. Outside the classroom, he loves music, martial arts, travelling, discovering new things and meeting new people.

DIDACTICS SPECIALIST & PROJECT MANAGER

Erik studied teaching German as a foreign language and is our expert in didactics. He’s part of the Easy German team, where he makes sure all content fits the needs of German learners. He also supports other Easy Languages teams improve their didactic concepts and materials. Erik is passionate about language teaching, intercultural exchange and traveling and spent a year teaching German in Thailand.

EDITOR & PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Esther helps produce the Easy German podcast. She edits many of our episodes and creates transcripts and vocabulary lists for our members. She also helps create the subtitles for many of our videos. Esther lives in Kiel and enjoys making music, writing and hiking.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Esthi is the Executive Assistant at Easy Languages. She assists Manuel and Cari in a wide range of projects, including communication, event organization, and much more. Esthi is a true dog lover and coffee enthusiast, finding joy in spending time outdoors with her Golden Retriever, Ludwig.

VIDEO PRODUCER

Harry produces videos for Easy Spanish, leading the team in Barcelona. He also supports analytics and content strategy around the Easy Languages network. When not working, he enjoys cooking carbonara and going on long cycling trips.

UX/UI RESEARCHER & DESIGNER

Irina supports Easy Languages in UX/UI research. She helps us better understand the needs of language learners and turn those insights into improvements for our membership platform, from user testing to new feature ideas. She loves street art, swing dancing, practicing yoga and taking long walks by the canals in Berlin.

COMMUNITY LEAD

Isi is a host and content producer at Easy German. Apart from shooting videos, she creates additional learning resources for Easy German members and coordinates the community management and publishing team. Born in Münster, she now lives in Brighton and is also part of the Easy English team.

TECHNICAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Jonathan is our Technical Operations Manager. With a background in software engineering and a broad interest in all things tech, he is responsible for our IT and supports our team and network behind the scenes.
He’s passionate about languages, has lived in different countries and also teaches Brazilian Portuguese. In his free time, he plays samba, does crochet and enjoys photography.

CO-FOUNDER

Janusz is the co-founder of Easy Languages, creating the first series of street interviews that later turned into Easy German. He is originally from Poland and came to Germany as a refugee in 1984. He used to be a truck driver before starting his career in media and education. Today he produces and hosts Easy German videos and loves to play the blues guitar.

VIDEO PRODUCER

Juanjo is part of the Easy Spanish team in Mexico. He helps out with the video and podcast editing as well as being the cameraman for the Easy Spanish episodes in Mexico City. Juanjo is secretly an undercover Jazz musician, a fitness enthusiast, and is at his happiest when cooking for his friends.

PARTNER MANAGER

Justin is part of the partners management team at Easy Languages where he trains and coordinates our network of co-producers. Justin is an ambitious and creative artist with a background in audio/visual arts and social activism. Originally from Texas, Justin moved to Berlin to be closer to the team and experience the richness that Berlin has to offer.

VIDEO PRODUCER

Lê is the host of Easy Portuguese and in charge of the learning materials, always adding a Brazilian touch.
Passionate about dance, people and cinema, he has performed worldwide with a dance-theater company.
Lê also enjoys yoga, caring for plants, and spending time with friends discussing films.

GERMAN DIDACTICIAN

Lisa is part of the Publishing & Community Team at Easy German. She regularly co-hosts Conversation Membership Calls and is involved in didactic topics, such as worksheet creation. After some long-term travel adventures in Latin America that included teaching German online and falling in love with Spanish, dancing and intercultural exchange, she now enjoys exploring Berlin — preferably outdoors.

COMMUNITY & MEMBER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

As part of our Publishing & Community Team, Lorenz manages our YouTube community and supports our Easy German members with any questions. He is also jointly responsible for our project that aims to help refugees from Ukraine. Lorenz studies International Relations in Berlin and enjoys coffee, sunsets and traveling to remote areas.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Magdalena joined the team as a freelancer to support the network with everything social media-related (and beyond!). She helps with marketing strategies, campaigns and communication with co-producers. Outside work, she dances forró, does yoga on her purple mat, cooks colourful plant-based meals and takes care of her plant collection.

COO

Manuel is the COO of Easy Languages and a host and producer at Easy German. He cares about developing new ideas, advancing the Easy Languages podcast network and discovering new partnerships. He lives in Berlin and enjoys cycling, coffee and learning a new skill (currently a handstand).

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

Marika is part of the community and customer management team, where she supports us in activities related to maintaining our social media channels and memberships. She currently lives and studies in Poznań. Privately, Marika enjoys cycling and learning foreign languages. She is also a big fan of tea.

SOFTWARE QA ENGINEER

Nier does software quality assurance at Easy Languages. She is responsible for testing and writing documentation for the various membership platforms in our network. She likes running, meditating, learning German, 10PM on a summer's night, and (as per realisations that came up as she's writing this) referring to herself in the first person.

GERMAN DIDACTICIAN

Pauline is part of our Community Team at Easy German. She responds to emails and comments and provides support to our Easy German members. She also co-hosts our Conversation Membership calls, where she engages with our community on a variety of topics. Pauline is passionate about salsa dancing, spending time in nature and exploring new cultures.

VIDEO PRODUCER

Rawad is a filmmaker from Lebanon who moved to Berlin in 2022 and joined Easy German as a video producer. He films and edits our videos and makes sure they look great on all platforms. He is a cinephile who loves and appreciates the art of cinema. In his free time, he exercises regularly, plays tennis, and loves to read.

FINANCE LEAD

Rebekka is responsible for all finance-related topics at Easy Languages. She monitors cash flow, analyzes financial results and prepares invoices. She also helps with sponsorship and licensee contracts. Having recently moved to Spain, she loves the beach and is a passionate language learner herself.

VIDEO PRODUCER

Soroush is a videographer at Easy German. Originally from Tehran, Iran, he now lives in Berlin with his wife and brings calm focus, quiet humor, and just the right amount of perfectionism to the visual style of Easy German and our partner app Seedlang. Outside of work, he enjoys story-driven video games, tending to his plants, and spending time outdoors with friends.
