Matteo

Born and bred in Naples, in many ways Matteo’s a typical Italian. He loves cooking, knows a lot about wine and loves being by the sea. But not always: he’s soft-spoken, arrives early and doesn’t talk with his hands.

A graphic designer by trade, as well as being on camera Matteo does all the behind the scenes design and tech stuff. He’s also the one responsible for the cute drawings and crosswords in the weekly exercises.

Katie

Originally from England, Katie moved to Milan and learned Italian as an adult. She’s been exactly where you are now, so she’s good at putting herself in your shoes and explaining things in a simple way. You can think of her as your tour guide for the Italian language.

Katie absolutely loves foreign languages and tries to spend as much of her freetime as possible learning them. As well as presenting Easy Italian, she runs the online language school Joy of Languages.

Raffaele

Born in Naples, where he still lives with his family, Raffaele likes to consider himself a citizen of the world. If he's not hosting videos or producing podcast episodes, then he is probably learning a new language, or practicing one of the few that he has already learned.

He travels as much as he can, but never enough, and, as a tour leader, he enjoys showing his city to visitors from all over the world. He is a vegetarian and loves sports, especially football/soccer.
